I had another bout of random inspiration. I'm lucky it happens a lot, otherwise I would have a few crap drawings. My inspiration was Howl's Moving Castle, which I watched because I had a sudden craving for cute guys with bird wings and issues. So in the following chat this came out:

And so that is how girls think. THIS IS NOT A CUE TO GO EMO!!!!!!!! This is simply why the personality of anime guys is so attractive. Of course their physical skills and outward appearance have a lot to do with this. And howl's amazing bird-transformation is so cool.

I was REALLY bored at last night's swim meet so i was thinking about anime(not that i do that just when i'm bored) and i thought about popular characters from media today. Edward from Twilight, Ichigo from Bleach, and Naruto and Sasuke from Naruto: Shippuden sprang to mind and i wondered who would win in a faceoff. While i wasn't really able to imagine a brawl involving all of them, i did manage to create a fight between two of them.

Their abilities/weapons-

Edward- mindreading, strength, uberspeed, impermeable rock hard skin, glitteriness(yeah right)

Ichigo- Zangetsu, Bankai's uberspeed and power, the Hollow mask, Getsuga Tenshou (assuming Getsuga Tenshou burns things)

Naruto- (after he decides not to use the Nine-Tail's power, which was one of the coolest things EVER)Rasengan, Sexy Jutsu, Paper Bombs, Shadow Clones, Summoning Jutsu, the Collaboration Water Pistol Jutsu with Gamatatsu

Sasuke- the Curse Mark's power, Chidori and its various mutations, katana, Fire Jutsus (Fireball and Pheonix Flowers), the Sharingan

Edward vs Sasuke- Sasuke's Fire Jutsu would burn Edward, but Edward can read his mind. If Sasuke reads his moves well enough with the Sharingan and uses Fire Jutsu he could kill Edward, but he would have to be really fast. Would Edward be speedy enough to fool the Sharingan or render it useless enough to not get burned before he was able to land a blow of his own?

Naruto vs Ichigo- (Naruto could easily get Ichigo with the Sexy Jutsu, but assuming he takes the high road and doesn't use it, this is what would happen)Both have a lot of power and stamina, and could fight for a while. The Getsuga Tenshou could wipe out all the clones before they got close enough, and Ichigo is fast enough in Bankai to easily get behind Naruto. Naruto has the trick of mixing himself into the clones to hide himself, and if he came from many angles he could hit Ichigo with the Rasengan. Would Naruto trick Ichigo long enough to hit him without being hit by Getsuga Tenshou or Zangetsu's blade?

Edward vs Ichigo- This would be no contest if Edward could not read minds. Would Ichigo move fast enough that even if Edward used mind reading it would be too late to avoid Ichigo's Getsuga Tenshou?

Sasuke vs Ichigo- the most amazing face-off of the lot. Both have darker powers- the Curse Mark and the Hollow mask, as well as powerful heritage. Both wield swords. The biggest difference is that Sasuke is a pain in the butt inside and out, but Ichigo is only a pain in the butt most of the time on the outside. Getsuga Tenshou could probably block the Fire Jutsus, but the Chidori could potentially cut through it because of its concentrated power versus the spread out power of Getsuga Tenshou (basic physics, people). Both have evenly matched speed and strength, so would the Chidori or the Getsuga Tenshou be more powerful?

Edward vs Naruto- (in this scenario, i have decided to make it evenly matched*. Naruto's mind cannot be read** by Edward)Edward has only one weakness when fighting- fire. Since Naruto has no Fire Jutsu, he would have to use Paper Bombs, which he could throw from multiple angles with Shadow Clones. However, Edward's speed and strength exceed Naruto's so if he moved fast enough he could evade the clones and land a blow on Naruto. Only if Naruto used his Shadow Clones wisely enough would he be able to hit Edward with the Paper Bombs.

*Anna thinks it is stupid to evenly match them and that Edward would win every time.

**Moygara thinks that possibly the Nine-Tails could shield Naruto's mind or make it confusing to Edward or something... she also thinks that this is the nerdiest thing she has EVER done (though its not as nerdy as making up similar scenarios with Pokemon).

I have added some of our artwork to the Art page and added some more descriptions for the Anime Recommendations page. Also, I've started the Anime Boys page, and I'm thinking about making a Manga Boys page too, as one of my favorite manga characters *cough* Sano Izumi *cough* is not also an anime character. They made Hana Kimi into a TV drama, you know, with real people. I think they kind of messed that up (I watched a few episodes, not too good), and the manga is way better! So you better read it!

On the Anime Recommendations page, all we're missing right now are the descriptions of Bleach and Sailor Moon. On the Anime Boys page, I put the name, the anime series the character is from, and an image of the character, but I think we should have descriptions on that page too. So we've got a lot of work to do... Anyways, I think that I've done a lot today. Yay! Now back to watch more Naruto...
